The Delhi Metro railway’s Phase-III expansions are progressing steadily with the survey and geo-technical investigation works having been completed on the proposed line connecting Dwarka to Najafgarh.

According to government sources, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has taken steps to prepare tender documents for starting physical work on this corridor.

Blue Line

The line, an extension of the existing Blue Line (Dwarka Sector 21–Vaishali/Noida City Centre), will have four stations: the existing Dwarka station along with the Najafgarh Depot, Municipal Corporation and Najafgarh stations.

The last station is located on the main Najafgarh–Nagloi Road, which is about 90 metres from Delhi Gate in Najafgarh and 900 metres from the Dhansa bus stand towards Nangloi.
