Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday sought the cooperation of Germany in the spheres of renewable sources of energy and skill development for turning the Capital into a world class city. A delegation headed by Germany’s Ambassador to India Michael Steiner met Mr. Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat here to discuss issues of mutual interest. Members of the Bavarian State Parliamentary Committee, led by Florian Herrmann, had accompanied Mr. Steiner. Mr. Kejriwal told the delegation that eradication of corruption in Delhi was one of the main priorities of his government.

According to the official sources, the Chief Minister recalled the anti-corruption helpline launched during his previous 49-day regime and said it would be replicated this time as well.

Mr. Kejriwal said his government would shortly bring a strong anti-corruption legislation to ensure quicker and stern action against bribe seekers.
