Delhi CM’s private secretary questioned over alleged assault on Chief Secretary

The Delhi Police on Thursday called Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Private Secretary for questioning in connection with the alleged assault on Chief Secretary in February.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Harendra Singh confirmed that CM's Private Secretary Bibhav Kumar is being questioned over the alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash on the night of February 19. Mr Singh said that the questioning was underway.

Earlier, the police had questioned nine MLAs in connection with the case and had arrested Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal. They were released on bail later. The police had also entered Mr. Kejriwal's house and procured CCTV footage of the night. The police had said that the video recording on the premises was running 40 minutes 42 seconds behind.
