Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash charged Aam Aadmi Party MLAs with staging a “premeditated attack” on him during a late night meeting at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Monday. The Delhi Police have registered an FIR against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan and 11 other MLAs based on Mr. Prakash’s complaint.

Anshu Prakash has sustained injuries on the face region: medical report

Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash has sustained injuries on the face as per a medical report — which has now been handed over to the Delhi Police — prepared after examination of the patient according to doctors at Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital.

Delhi’s top bureaucrat had gone to the hospital at 9 p.m. on February 20 with complaint of “painful neck movement, pain behind both ears and pain behind the right eye.”

His medical record shows that doctors found “tenderness and mild swelling behind both ears, bruise over lower lip (right side). No other form of injury was detected. The injury is simple.” Mr. Prakash has been given pain killers and other medicines as per doctor’s order.

 

 

AAP MLA from Okhla, Amanatullah Khan, surfaces

Police are tracking down the remaining AAP MLAs. Amanatullah Khan surfaced on Wednesday morning with his supporters. He said he would surrender before the police, and that he has been falsely implicated in the case.

"I was at home last night. I have no reason to hide from the police. I am going to the police station now," said Mr. Khan, adding that he is going to the Civil Lines police station. However, other AAP MLAs have either switched off their phones or not found at their respective homes.

Delhi Police PRO, Madhur Verma, said Amanatullah Khan  was detained at Jamia Nagar Police Station at around 11.30 a.m.

VK Jain questioned and released

The advisor to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was picked up by Delhi police on Wednesday morning from his residence at Maharani Bagh. VK Jain (rtd. IAS), was detained for questioning by the Delhi police early at 7am from his residence and taken to Civil Lines police station. He was released later in the morning.

 

 

 

Prakash Jarwal detained

AAP legislator Prakash Jarwal was detained on Tuesday night. He was picked up from his house at Deoli. There is a possibility he will be arrested later, sources said.
