The website of the Customs department functioning from Indira Gandhi International Airport was defaced allegedly by a Pakistani hacker. The website ‘ >www.igiacustoms.gov.in ’, which was defaced on Friday, continued to host the defaced homepage even on Sunday.

According to the defaced home page, a hacker who uses the handle “H4$N4!N H4XOR” managed to break into the server, removed the content on the home page and uploaded an image as well as an audio file of a song. The hacker had also challenged the website administrators with a threat. “Secure it or I hack it again”.

A ‘whois’ search on ‘ >registry.gov.in ’ reveals that the site is registered in the name of Joint Commissioner of Customs functioning from IGI Airport, New Delhi.
