CS assault row: another AAP MLA questioned

The Delhi Police on Tuesday questioned AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha for nearly four hours in connection with the alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash, even as legislators Rituraj and Rajesh Gupta have been called for questioning.

Mr. Jha was summoned for questioning on Sunday. The Burari MLA arrived at Civil Lines police station around 4 p.m. and was questioned till 8 p.m., the police said.

An officer said Mr. Rituraj has been summoned for questioning on Wednesday, Mr. Gupta has been called day on Thursday.

The role of the MLAs in the case is under investigation as they were present at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, when the alleged assault took place on the night of February 19.
