Course on Delhi governance model

May 04, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 09:21 am IST - New Delhi:

Professionals can now learn about the Delhi model of governance and contribute to it as part of the Chief Minister’s Urban Leadership Fellows (CMULF) programme launched by the Aam Aadmi Party.

As per the eligibility criteria, anyone under the age of 35 years from across the country can apply for the course, which will extend over a maximum of two years. A due process has been set-up for the review, applications, short-listing and interviews of candidates. The programme will be managed by a nodal officer appointed by the Delhi government and several other external partners. The selected candidates will undergo a structured induction programme, besides lectures/sessions with subject experts.

“All Fellows will work under the supervision of senior officers of the government. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister will lead high-level reviews of their work once every six months,” said the spokesperson.

Associate Fellows would be selected from a range of academic and professional disciplines. “They will work in synergy with various departments in formulation of policies, implementation of projects and initiatives in the development, infrastructure and technology sector,” said a spokesperson of the Delhi government.
