Unidentified persons attacked the house of Congress MLA from Sultanpuri Jaikishan early on Saturday morning. According to the police, a window of the house was smashed.

Although he did not name anyone in his police complaint, talking to journalists later Mr. Jaikishan said he suspected a former Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader who had allegedly threatened him in the past to be behind the attack. He, however, did not rule out other possibilities. Mr. Jaikishan said he was informed about the presence of some boys hurling stones at his house and made a call to the Police Control Room. But by the time the police arrived, they culprits had fled.
