Committed to women safety: Rajasthan DGP

After assuming charge at the police headquarters here, new Director-General of Rajasthan Police Manoj Bhatt on Monday said he would give top priority to ensure justice and safety for women besides curbing crime in the State.

“Police would have a top priority to provide justice to suffering women and ensure their security, and to protect the rights of Dalits,” Mr. Bhatt said here.

A comprehensive awareness campaign would be launched for vehicle riders to prevent accident which was a matter of great concern, he said.

More cyber security cell would be opened to deal with the rising cyber crimes and the police would be modernised as per the need, he said.

Mr. Bhatt said he would take every cop in confidence and instil a feeling of team work in them to maintain law and order. - PTI
