The city was under the influence of one western disturbance after the other all March.

Now it seems that unseasonal rain is likely to continue in April as well.

Another western disturbance is likely to affect the city from April 2 onwards, says the Meteorological Department.

The disturbance is likely to cause widespread rain/snow over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next one week.

Thunder squall accompanied with hailstorm may also occur over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on April 2-3.

Under the influence of this system, light rain/thundershowers may occur over some parts of Delhi-NCR between April 2 and April 7.

Thunder squall accompanied with hailstorm could also occur in some areas on April 3 and 4.

The forecast for Thursday reads partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of very light rain/ thundershowers over some areas and mist in the morning.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will be between 33 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius respectively.
