To gather support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘New India’ call, the Delhi unit of the BJP on Wednesday took out a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in the north-east Delhi parliamentary constituency, represented by unit chief Manoj Tiwari.
Mr. Tiwari led the procession, held under the BJP’s Sankalp Se Siddhi (resolution for achievement) programme, which started from Karawal Nagar Chowk and converted into a public meeting at Dilshad Garden. “It is PM Modi’s vision that the dream of ‘New India’ be realised by the time we celebrate the 75th Independence Day in 2022,” he said.
