Responding to questions posed to convenor Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party said it was not going to fall for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s trap.
The questions pertain to the AAP accepting Congress support to form government in Delhi and some other actions taken by him as Chief Minister.
“There is nothing new about the issues they have raised. These are old and stale, and show how nervous the BJP is about its electoral prospects,” said senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav.
“The so-called 5 questions are a reflection of the panic that has crept in the BJP. They should at least come up with some new ones now,” he tweeted.
Senior leader Sanjay Singh said: “We had challenged them to an open debate, but they refused. We are not going to reply like this. If they want to have a full-fledged debate on all issues, including the ones they feel are important, we do not have a problem. They should tell us the date and time.”
