The Delhi BJP Yuva Morcha launched a signature campaign on Friday as part of a series of programmes planned by the party to raise the issue of price rise among the people.

As part of the programme, party workers and leaders came together at Palika Bazar in Connaught place and signed a memorandum that would later be submitted to the President.

Among the party leaders who came out against the policies of the Congress at the Centre and in Delhi were BJP general secretary Vijay Goel, Delhi BJP president O. P. Kohli, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly V. K. Malhotra, former BJP MP Chetan Chauhan and Yuva Morcha president Anuj Sharma.

After signing on the memorandum, the party leaders and workers also got members of the public to join their signature campaign.

Meanwhile, foot marches were also organised against price rise by the various mandals of the party in different parts of Delhi such as Chandni Chowk, Mehrauli, Mayur Vihar and Bawana.

Rallies were also organised by the party's youth wing in Karol Bagh and New Delhi districts as part of the anti-price rise campaign.

Prof. Kohli declared that one crore signatures would be collected across Delhi.

Mr. Goel said these signatures would be handed over to the President on April 21.
