A South Delhi auto driver has alleged that a woman tried to sexually assault him, while a Tanzanian woman recorded the act.
The police have arrested one of the accused, while the foreign national is absconding. The duo has been booked for robbery and illegal confinement.
A senior police officer told The Hindu that they had little choice in the absence of laws pertaining to sexual harassment of men by women.
The 41-year-old driver was hired to go to Arjun Nagar by a woman in her early 40s on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
“As the vehicle neared PVR Saket, she borrowed Rs.300 from me and bought soft drinks and other items. When we reached her locality, she asked me to come to her flat to collect the fare and the Rs.300,” said the driver in his complaint.
She allegedly bolted the doors from inside, and relieved him of his cash and phone. She then brought alcoholic drinks and offered him a glass, while gulping down one herself.
When he refused to drink, she hurled the liquor on his face and brought in the Tanzanian woman, he alleged.
“She began kissing me and forcing me to take off my clothes, while the foreigner filmed the incident,” he said.
Sensing danger, he jumped off the balcony, allegedly sustaining fractures in the legs. He dragged himself to a taxi parked some distance away and called up the police. The flat was raided by a police team, only to find it locked from outside.
The arrested woman is allegedly involved in four other cheating cases. “Her father had left her a fortune at the time of his death, but she splurged much of it on alcohol,” said a senior police officer.
