Don't even dream of getting into any of these top colleges. Imagine what will happen to those who score in their 80's to 90's. For your school, you may be a topper....
This is absolute ridicule to the students of our country. Cut off lists issued by the
colleges are a huge insult to those students who strive to get maximum marks to get
into a good college. Over past few years, it seems that this cut-off list has reached
limits. Once getting 72% was considered average. Now, it is considered below
average to even get 92%. What do they want students to d? What will happen to those
who didn't get the required cutoff? All those below 90% will languish in private
colleges or correspondence? It is an education Mafia system. It should be abolished.
Every student should be given a choice to choose the course they want to pursue,
irrespective of the percentage. They should be allowed to take prerequisites in
college if their choice of stream was different from their background. In fact, they
should follow western system of education where the students choose courses they
want to do in high school( 11- 12th) and pursue further.
It is to high for even very bright student for second tier town. There
must be some provision for some relaxation for marks for small cities
student . Even topper for of town are not able to get admission in any
