A Trained Graduate Teacher and two Delhi University students have been arrested for cheating during the Bachelor of Commerce examination in Roop Nagar here.
A Delhi University flying squad caught two students on Wednesday while they were trying to enter an examination centre in Roop Nagar carrying answer sheets. The verification of the roll numbers mentioned on the answer sheets revealed that the two candidates had already left the examination centre after handing over their answer sheets to the invigilators.
Further investigation revealed that Examination-in-Charge Sandeep Dabas would allow the students to leave the examination centre before the permitted time along with the answer sheets and accepted the answer sheets back before the examination time was over. He would charge Rs.2,000 for each paper.
Sandeep and the two students, Mohit and Ramandeep, were later arrested.
Mohit, a resident of Sonepat, is a student of Khalsa college. Ramandeep, a resident of Tilak Nagar, is pursuing B.Com through School of Open Learning.
