A technical snag on Line 3 between Dwarka and Noida on Saturday led to disruption of Metro services for over an hour. The incident occurred past 8 a.m.

According to officials of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, interlocking was reported from Dwarka Sector 21 station which caused the delay. “Interlocking is a glitch that affects the software and causes the trains to stop. The incident occurred at 8.15 a.m. and our teams solved the problem in a short time,” said a DMRC spokesperson.

Passengers complained that they had to wait for over an hour for the train services to resume.

Of late, snags affecting services of Metro trains have become frequent causing inconvenience to passengers.
