Delhiites woke to another cold morning on Monday even as the mercury climbed up a little bit in the national capital after remaining below nine degree Celsius for last couple of days.
The minimum was recorded at 10.2 degree Celsius, up from yesterday’s 8.7 degree Celsius.
The Met department said that the days ahead may get colder with the mercury likely to dip further. The minimum and maximum is likely to hover around 11 and 24 degree Celsius respectively tomorrow, they said.
During the last week, the temperature in the city has mostly been oscillating between eight and 25 degrees Celsius.
The season’s lowest of 7.9 degree Celsius, was recorded on Saturday, which was also the lowest for the month of November in the past three years.
In 2008, the lowest temperature for the month was nine degree Celsius recorded on November 25 while in 2007, it was 9.6 degrees on November 23. The record for 2006 was 7.3 degree C on November 29.
