An all-party meeting with the Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee will be held at the Delhi Secretariat on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing sealing drive, government officials said on Tuesday.

An official said that members of the Committee, on whose orders the municipal corporations are carrying out the sealing drive, will visit Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s office in the Secretariat at 11.30 a.m. Representatives of the BJP and Congress have also been invited, the official added.

On March 13, Mr. Kejriwal had called an all-party meeting at his residence to discuss solutions to the sealing problem. Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken and senior leaders Arvinder Singh and Subhash Chopra attended the meeting, while the BJP boycotted it.

After that, Deputy Chief Secretary Manish Sisodia said that an all-party delegation will meet the committee.

The Chief Minister had last week written to the Committee seeking an appointment. BJP leader and the Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta said he will attend the meeting.

The Congress will send a delegation, though Mr. Maken is unlikely to attend as the party has planned a protest outside the Chief Minister’s house at 12 p.m., a Congress source said.
