Advantage restaurants

August 28, 2015 12:00 am | Updated March 29, 2016 05:52 pm IST - NEW DELHI:

In what could revolutionize the use of open spaces at restaurants across the Capital, Delhi Law and Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra has suggested that service be allowed in open areas and terraces.

Mr. Mishra wrote to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on the issue pointing out that while the Excise Department was allowing the same, restaurants were not being allowed to serve in open spaces and terraces made available to them by the respective municipal corporations.

The Minister added that such service was, in fact, allowed in other Indian cities such as Mumbai and even Noida.
