The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday said that it would demand that the Centre’s policies such as “start-up village”, “skill India”, “Make in India” and “stand up India start up India”, be made part of the syllabus of primary and secondary education to create awareness about the schemes in “growing minds”.

The ABVP said that the decision was made during its National Executive Committee meeting held recently.

The outfit said that it would also demand dedicated educational institutes and campuses across the country to enhance the arena for acquiring special skills required to increase the employability of students wanting to join sports, entertainment and pharmaceutical industry.

The student organisation also demanded a policy from the Centre against infiltration of Chinese goods in the Indian market.
