The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday said it has replaced a candidate for the upcoming civic body polls after finding that a criminal case was registered against him.
The party has cancelled the candidature of Vijay Pawadia, who was declared as the party’s candidate from Dwarka. “We received a complaint that he had a criminal case against him. On further probe, it was found to be true, so his candidature was cancelled,” said AAP’s Delhi unit secretary Saurabh Bharadwaj.
