The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is organising a National Convention at the Ramlila Maidan, where the movement against corruption gave birth to the party in 2012, to celebrate its fifth foundation day on Sunday

AAP’s Delhi convenor Gopal Rai said representatives from around 22 States will participate in the event. “This is where the movement started. We will discuss the experiences of party members over these five years from the first Assembly elections in Delhi to the whopping victory where we managed to win 67 out 70 seats here,” Mr. Rai said.

He said that all the experiences from the elections that the party has fought during this period will be made into a report and submitted in the convention. The Jan Lokpal Bill will also be discussed.
