Two policemen were injured on Monday in a shootout in south Delhi’s Nehru Place. After the encounter, the police arrested one of the assailants, Akbar, who has several cases against him.

The two policemen were saved by their bulletproof vests, sources said. A police officer said several rounds of bullets were fired in the shootout.
