A toll plaza employee at Kherki Dhaula here on Thursday was allegedly abducted at gunpoint and brutally beaten up following an argument over not allowing exemption to a vehicle.

Assistant Plaza Manager Manoj Kumar was present at the toll when a SUV registered in Delhi reached the plaza and sought exemption from paying toll fee. When the request was refused the driver abused the attendant and Manoj and drove off. The driver returned an hour later with four more persons and pushed Manoj inside the vehicle at gunpoint. He was beaten up by the men and was let off when passersby and toll employees intervened. A police complaint was lodged in this regard.
