: A student of Galgotia University was on Monday found dead in her paying guest accommodation here.
Darshika Singh lived in Khusbu Apartment in Sector Pie. Her body was found hanging from the ceiling fan by staff members of the PG in the afternoon. The staff informed the police, following which the body was sent for a post-mortem examination, SP (Rural) Sujata Singh said.
‘No suicide note’
No suicide note was recovered from the room, said the police, adding that they would scan the girl’s cellphone which was locked.
The police said the phone would prove to be a crucial link in the probe.
They added that they were suspecting foul play in the case.—PTI
