Jamia launches alumni network

Jamia Millia Islamia on Friday launched the Global Jamia Alumni Network (GJAN) and invited all alumni to register with the network so that former students from different parts of the world can come together to strengthen their presence.

“Landmark event”

Vice-Chancellor Talat Ahmad called it “a landmark event in the history of the institution”.

Beneficial relationship

The university informed that GJAN will promote the interest, welfare and educational goals of the university and its alumni, establish and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship between the two, and encourage lifelong engagement of the alumni and the university community at large.
