The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government on Monday invited online applications for issuance of 10,000 permits to auto-rickshaws. The decision will increase the numbers of auto-rickshaws plying across the Capital. In December 2015, the AAP government had suspended three Transport department officials over alleged corruption in issuing fresh Letters Of Interest (LOIs) for three-wheelers.
