Fire at Chandni Chowk

: Goods worth crores were gutted after a major fire broke out at the Moti Bazaar market in Chandni Chowk on Wednesday. No casualties were reported.

“We sent 25 fire tenders to the market immediately after we received a call around 3.30 am,” said a senior Delhi Fire Services officer. The situation was brought under control almost three hours later, but by then goods like confectionary, sarees, and other items were destroyed.
