DCW notice to police, FRRO

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued notices to the Delhi Police and the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in connection with complaints regarding detention of foreign nationals at a beggar home.

DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal had conducted a surprise inspection at the beggar home in Nirmal Chhaya Complex last month. “We have received serious complaints from two ladies — one from Afghanistan and another from Nigeria,” a DCW official said.
