Doctors at Fortis Memorial Research Institute recently performed an intensive procedure on a Iraqi patient (41), who had a nine kg tumour in his mediastinum (a membranous partition between the lungs) crushing his lungs and heart. The doctors said, “The tumour was compressing right ventricular outflow tract and other adjoining structures. It was creating breathing problems. Using surgical techniques helped in its successful removal.”
