Six men rape minor in moving car

A police control room van chased the vehicle and rescued the girl.

Six men allegedly abducted a minor girl and took turns to rape her in a moving car in West Delhi's Ranhola on Thursday.

The 14-year-old victim is a student of Class VII. She was known to a couple of the accused and left with them from her school on Thursday. Later, others joined them, said the police.

Sources said that the car, which was used in the commission of the alleged gang rape belonged to a call centre where one of the accused is employed.

All but one of the accused have been arrested. It was a police control room van, which chased the vehicle and rescued the girl, the police said.

The five arrested men have been identified as Ramesh, Narendra, Rahul, Sandeep and Suraj.

It was also in Ranhola where a two-year-old was gang raped in a park this October.
