A 40-year-old woman was gang-raped allegedly by two men, including a doctor, in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas on Saturday afternoon. In her complaint the woman also alleged that the two accused were part of another group of four that had raped her three years ago.
All the four have been named as accused in the case and three of them are still on the run. The police have arrested 40-year-old Vikas who is alleged to have raped the woman earlier.
On a job hunt A police officer said that according to the victim, she was looking for a job. She met one Raj Narayan who took her to Lodhi Colony on Saturday to meet a doctor as he had promised her a job at his dispensary.
After the meeting concluded, the three left for Hauz Khas to meet one Kishore Chand Narang (80) at his residence. It is alleged that there the doctor and Narayan took turns to rape the woman, while Narang was present at the house. “The men dumped the victim in front of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences around 5-30 p.m. She then approached the police and we registered a case,” said the officer.
While the woman claims to have known Narayan for the last five years, she has been acquainted with the other three for three years.
