July 12, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:35 am IST - New Delhi:

A woman has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act after a 17-year-old boy accused her of luring him into having sex. Police later registered a counter FIR against the boy as it was the 26-year-old woman who had first called the police from a hotel room to allege that she had been raped.

The incident took place in South Delhi’s Vasant Vihar. Police said they are also probing the case from the angle of honey trapping. No arrests were made till this report was filed. “When a police team arrived, the boy said that he was only 17 years old and that the woman had used a Facebook account to befriend him,” said a senior police officer.

He claimed that she told him that she was a divorcee and that their friendship would be limited to a sexual relationship.
