2 killed in hit-and-run cases

In two similar hit-and-run incidents reported in different parts of the city, two young men were killed and another was injured. The victims in both the incidents, reported in North Delhi’s Prembari Flyover and East Delhi’s Akshardham Flyover, were on two-wheelers while the errant drivers were in cars. The accused remain unidentified in both cases.

The deceased in the Akshardham case has been identified as Ikrar (27). In the second incident, two cousins sustained injuries, one of them fatal in nature, while they were on their way to Rajouri Garden for some work. They have been identified as Danish (26) and Aamir (25). —Staff Reporter
