Three men have been arrested for allegedly gangraping a 19-year-old inside a car on Tuesday night in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar.
2 men stand guard
The victim told the police that she works as a domestic help and that three men living in the neighbourhood had abducted her. She was then allegedly raped by one of them while the rest stood guard.
According to the police, all three have been arrested. She added in her statement that she had finished her work at one of the houses in the area on Tuesday night and was on her way home when one of the accused pulled her inside the car.
Medical examination
She was then allegedly taken to an isolated location on National Highway-24. Two of the man’s friends stood outside the car and kept guard as he assaulted her.
The woman was then dropped near the area before the accused fled. She returned home and narrated the ordeal to her parents. The parents then registered a case against the accused men at Madhu Vihar police station. A medical examination of the woman was also conducted.
