A 15-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from Uttam Nagar and then raped by two men in a moving SUV before being abandoned near her house on Tuesday night. Both the accused have been arrested.
According to the police, the girl was known to the main accused Parshu Ram who works in a company in Gurgaon. “He asked the girl to come and meet her. When she reached, he dragged her inside his vehicle which was being driven by his friend Manoj. While Parshu raped the girl, Manoj drove the vehicle around Najafgarh and Narela. He also threatened the victim with dire consequences when she tried to raise an alarm.
The two then dumped the girl her near her house next morning and drove away,” said a senior police officer.
It is also alleged that Parshu Ram tortured the girl before they let her go.
Upon reaching home the girl narrated the incident to her family and they approached the police. After a medical examination confirmed rape, a case was registered under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
The two men were arrested on Thursday.
