Coimbatore Collector launches Your Vote is Your Voice campaign

A pamphlet emphasising the need for every one to vote stapled on the copies of “The Hindu” was distributed to the motorists free of cost.

A campaign aimed at reaching the electorate emphasising the need to necessarily vote and ethical voting was launched in the city on Saturday by The Hindu in association with Peepal Prodigy School.

District Collector Archana Patnaik inaugurated the campaign at Lakshmi Mills Signal in the city on Saturday morning after signing a graffiti wall emphasising the need for ethical voting and ensuring 100 cent per participation in the democratic process.

As part of the campaign, a pamphlet emphasising the need for every one to vote stapled on the copies of The Hindu was distributed to the motorists free of cost. S. Kadirvel, K. Shivapirakasan and K. Kumaraguru of Peepal Prodigy School also took part in the campaign.

The distribution took place at Lakshmi Mills signal, R.S.Puram Signal, Ukkaddam Signal, and Ramanathapuram signal.

A graffiti wall which was put up to ensure 100 per cent ethical voting, at the Lakshmi Mills signal. Another graffiti wall is being put up at Race Course.
