Women constables complete training

City Police Commissioner, C. Sylendra Babu took the salute and reviewed the passing out parade by 150 Grade II women constable recruits at the Police Recruit School Grounds on Friday.

The cadets commenced their training on November 16, last year.

They underwent training in parade, physical exercise, physical endurance, handling sophisticated weapons and legal aspects of police work..

On completion of training and passing out parade, the cadets are being sent for practical field training in Erode, Coimbatore Rural District and Coimbatore City.

Mr.Sylendra Babu exhorted the women constables to attend to the call of duty with sincerity, dedication and commitment.

Citizens

In his address to the cadets, he stressed the need for being polite and courteous towards law-abiding citizens in the course of discharging their duties.
