CMCH authorities clarified that Muthumeena had three fractures and breathing problem and the death came because of a cardiac arrest.

Commotion prevailed at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital in the small hours of Friday after a man complained that his wife died due to delayed and wrong treatment.

On September 9, Subburaj’s wife Muthumeena (24), their newborn twin babies and eight others were injured when the van in which they were travelling from Mettupalayam temple involved in an accident. While one of the babies died on the spot, Muthumeena and the other baby were admitted to the hospital. In the early hours of Friday, Muthumeena breathed her last.

Subburaj complained that the death was only because of wrong and delayed treatment. This resulted in commotion. However, CMCH authorities clarified that Muthumeena had three fractures and breathing problem and the death came because of a cardiac arrest. They denied charges of delayed or wrong treatment.
