Two held for unnatural offences

Police arrested two youths for sexually abusing a ten-year-old boy at Anaimalai, on Saturday.

According to the police, the boy had come to visit his grandparents for the summer vacation and was staying with them. During this time, he was lured by S. Madanakumar, 21, a resident of Maduraiveerankoil Street in Anaimalai and P. Kalimuthu, 20, a resident of Vettaikaranpudur, under the pretext of playing video games, and sexually abused near the Parambikulam Aliyar Project (PAP) Vaikalmedu on Thursday.

Upon getting to know of this incident, the boy’s father lodged a police complaint following which the two youths were arrested on Saturday.

Sections 377 (unnatural offences) and 506 (i) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code have been invoked. The Anaimalai Police have registered a case and are investigating.
