Training programme for differently abled

Youth 4 Jobs Trust will provide employment training to differently abled persons in use of computer applications, spoken English, personality development, retail trade, business process outsourcing and hospitality management, work exposure and preparing resume for interview.

Those who have appeared for Class X examination and are aged between 18 and 30 years are eligible to apply. The level of disability has to be 40 per cent and for those with speech and hearing impairment the level of disability has to be 50 per cent.

Felicitation

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Academy for Competitive Examinations along with Samkalp, New Delhi, Swami Vivekananda Foundation, Coimbatore, and Vagbhata Institute of Advanced Studies, Kerala, will honour students of Samkalp’s who had successfully cleared the 2014 UPSC civil service examinations.

The candidates are from the four southern States, says a release from the Academy. The organisers will hold the function on August 1 (Saturday) at the GKD Auditorium at the Ramakrishna Misssion Vidyalaya.

Alumni meet

Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science will host a reunion of the 1992 batch alumni. A release from the institution says that it will hold the reunion on August 1 (Saturday) and as part of the event, the alumni will share their experience with the students.
