Traffic diversion in Coimbatore for temple car festival

The city police have announced changes in the traffic pattern on city roads from 10 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. in view of the car festival of the Ukkadam Kottai Sangameswarar Temple on Friday.

In view of the car festival, vehicles from Avanashi Road Flyover, Brooke Bond Road and Tiruchi Road will not be allowed to proceed to Ukkadam and Palakkad Road via Big Bazaar Street.

Vehicles will have to pass through Lanka Corner, Classic Tower Road, Valankulam Bypass Road and then reach Ukkadam to proceed further. Vehicles from Tiruchi Road should also take the Valankulam bypass road to reach Ukkadam.

Light motor vehicles on NH Road to Town Hall and Ukkadam will have to take Raja Street and Vincent Road to reach Ukkadam.

Heavy vehicles will have to take the Lanka Corner Road, Tiruchi Road and Valankulam Bypass Road to reach Ukkadam.
