TNAU scientist gets ISWS award

Dr. C. Chinnusamy, professor (Agronomy) in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has been conferred with the Indian Society of Weed Sciences (ISWS) Recognition Award for the year 2009—10.

The award, carrying a citation, instituted by ISWS was conferred on him for his outstanding contribution in the field of weed science research, a TNAU press release said on Saturday.

Dr. Chinnusamy was presented with the award during the recent ISWS biennial conference held at Raipur in Chhattisgarh, it said.
