TNAU inks MoU with University of Tokyo

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has inked two memoranda of understanding with University of Tokyo, Japan, in an effort to take forward academic and research linkages.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has inked two memoranda of understanding with University of Tokyo, Japan, in an effort to take forward academic and research linkages. One is with the university, for student exchange for academic programmes, while the other is with the Asian Natural Environmental Science Center (ANESC) of the university for faculty exchange, conduct of collaborative research, and exchange of academic information, besides others.

According to a release, TNAU already has linkages with the Japanese University in molecular biology and social sciences. In an effort to expand the scope of collaboration, Aki Kamoshita of ANESC, visited TNAU and facilitated the inking of MoUs. The MoU for the university was inked by K. Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor of TNAU, and Hiromichi Nagasawa, Dean, Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and the other was signed by Mr. Ramasamy and Yasuo Fukuyo, Director of ANESC.
