Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has received 10,700 applications immediately it made available online applications for admission to undergraduate courses a fortnight ago.

As many as 1,760 candidates had applied on May 6 itself when the process started.

A. Rajarajan, Dean (Agriculture), TNAU, said 25,600 have registered and 10,700 have submitted completed forms.

All correspondence, including acknowledgements and intimations regarding counselling, will be available online on the website of the university – tnau.ac.in.

The university is offering 1,330 seats in six science programmes and seven technology programmes. There is a helpdesk that functions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
