Three day celebrations from OSAI

OSAI, a non-Governmental organisation in conservation of ecology, has organised a three day long observance/celebrations to mark the World Sparrow Day, World Forest Day and World Water Day that falls on March 20, 21 and 22 respectively.

A release from K. Kalidasan of OSAI said that on March 20 that marks the Wold Sparrow Day, a meeting has been organised at TNAU wherein a documentary film on “Save our Sholas” (SOS) produced by Sekardattatri will be screened.

On March 21 (World Forest Day) in association with Ranganathan Engineering College, a trekking programme is being organised for the students at Narasipuram in the morning and a meeting on undisputable link between mankind and pachyderms would be discussed. On March 22 to mark the World Water Day, a documentary film festival on Nature, Wildlife Film Festival is being organised in association with the Department of Visual Communications of Hindusthan College. The festival would have screening of films made by renowned wildlife film makers.
