Mayor K. Selvaraj inaugurated the two-day ‘Techno show' organised by IIGM Private Limited, New Delhi, exhibiting world class textile machinery and accessories, here on Friday.
The show had attracted participation of companies from United States, Sweden, Italy, China, Turkey, India and Australia.
A wide range of products from software solutions for developing fabric designs using 3-Dimensional image offered by the U.S.-based Gerber Technology to electrical systems needed for a garment unit were on display.
Computer-aided automated stitching unit developed by a Swedish company, modern dyeing and washing equipments by an Italian firm and an electronically-operated needle detector designed by a Japanese unit were some of the major attractions in the fair.
