Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has appealed to the public to verify that its staff and officials have the identity card issued by the corporation when they visit a house or a residential area for meter reading or for any electricity related work.
In the wake of two men posing as TANGEDCO staff and taking away property worth Rs. 1.3 lakh in Sulur on Thursday, the corporation has said that it has issued identity cards to all its staff and officials.
