TANCET to be held on April 6, 7

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2013 for admission to MBA, MCA, M.E., M. Tech., M. Arch., and M. Plan. courses will be held in 14 centres in Coimbatore on April 6 and 7.

According to T. Purusothaman, Co-ordinator of TANCET, Coimbatore Zone, the examination for MBA and MCA aspirants will be held on April 6 and for the others it will be held on April 7.

GCT is one of the nodal centres in the State responsible for conducting the TANCET. There are a total of 17,625 candidates writing in Coimbatore Zone, with 5,336 candidates appearing for MBA and 1,497 for MCA.

As many as 10,792 are appearing for the M.E., M.Tech., M. Arch., and M. Plan. courses.

MBA candidates have to attend the examination from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on April 6. MCA candidates will write the examination on the same day from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Those who have applied for M.E., M.Tech., M. Arch., and M. Plan. will write the examination from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on April 7.

Candidates can write the examination in 14 centres (see image) .

An enquiry centre will function at the Government College of Technology on April 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Candidates, who have not received hall tickets through post or have misplaced their hall tickets, may get a duplicate by providing required proof.

Candidates should bring photocopies of the mark sheets of Standard X and Plus-Two / Diploma.
